We, at Orchard Villa, attempt to provide a home like
environment for all residents. The atmosphere in the
residence is to be healthy, clean, and cheerful with
a sense of acceptance and belonging; designed to motivate,
stimulate and sustain the resident while in our care.
We respect each individual resident and are sensitive
towards the resident’s right for privacy, dignity
and confidentiality. We believe we have a duty toward
the relatives to treat them with kindness and empathy
and to keep them informed regarding the progress of their
family member.
We promote resident wellness and
strive to maintain maximum independence for each resident
by encouraging the residents to keep themselves as active
and as healthy as possible through proper nutrition and
socializing to alleviate loneliness. Our common goal
is to assist each resident to live each day as meaningful
as possible, and to maintain our reputation as a top
senior’s residence in the Durham Region. |
